Job Summary
The Mobile Truck Technician is a key position in operations, as they diagnose various failures in trucks and recommend the best repair procedures. Once confirmed with the customer, they will perform the repair work, and in addition, this level will mentor less-skilled technicians.
Qualifications:
A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Must have a vocational diploma or degree in diesel or truck repair.
Three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have a valid and clean driver's license (less than four moving violation points).
Must have Ford Journeyman certification. Preferred Master Certified as well.
Competencies:
Strong communication skills required, both verbal and written.
Must have good problem-solving, time management, and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb, or balance; stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 40 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
