Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Service Tire Technician to join our team. This role involves providing on-site maintenance, and repair, for a variety of heavy equipment, industrial machinery, and automotive systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, experience with heavy equipment operation, and excellent customer service skills. The Mobile Service Tire Technician will be responsible for ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely across multiple job sites, supporting clients with timely repairs and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

Tire Service and Repair: Perform onsite mounting, dismounting, and repairing of commercial truck tires and tractor tires. Emergency Roadside Assistance: Respond to service calls to provide timely tire repairs or replacements for stranded vehicles. Routine Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of tire pressure, tread depth, and overall tire condition to ensure safety and compliance. Fleet Maintenance: Manage scheduled tire rotations and maintenance for client fleets to maximize tire lifespan. Equipment Operation: Safely operate service truck tools, including hydraulic jacks, air compressors, and impact wrenches. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and roadside safety markings. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and work orders completed for billing and tracking purposes.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge of farm machinery, industrial equipment, heavy machinery operation, and vehicle systems. Experience with John Deere equipment or similar brands is preferred. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and other maintenance devices. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures including tire service, alignment techniques, air brake systems. Capable of heavy lifting safely during repair tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong customer service orientation. Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining high safety standards. Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
