Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing blood draws and specimen collection in various locations, ensuring a high level of patient service and care.

3-5 years of experience. Hospital experience preferred

must pass screening phone call for interview in person

Bilingual English / Spanish needed but not required for this position

able to work independently

willing to drive 10-15 miles radius

Excellent phlebotomy skills is a requirement

Responsibilities

Perform blood sampling and specimen collection from patients in various settings, including homes, clinics, and hospitals. Ensure proper identification of patients and specimens to maintain accuracy in testing. Process specimens according to established protocols to ensure quality control. Monitor and record vital signs as necessary before and after procedures. Provide excellent patient service by addressing concerns and ensuring comfort during the procedure. Maintain cleanliness and organization of mobile phlebotomy equipment and supplies. Collaborate with clinical laboratory staff to ensure timely processing of specimens. Stay updated on best practices in phlebotomy techniques and safety protocols.

Experience

3-5 years of experience in phlebotomy or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and laboratory techniques is essential. Familiarity with blood sampling procedures and specimen collection processing is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently in a mobile environment.
