Apex Guardian Network is hiring

armed security officers

for both

on-site posts and vehicle patrols

in the Denver Metro area. These positions involve conducting visible, proactive patrols and site security duties, including both foot and vehicle-based operations. Officers must remain alert, professional, and adaptable while working in dynamic, often unpredictable environments.

We are seeking individuals who demonstrate sound judgment, calm decision-making under stress, and strong communication skills. Training is provided, and an optional ride-along (highly encouraged) may be part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities Include:

Conduct scheduled patrols by vehicle and foot on assigned properties Secure buildings, amenities, and perimeter areas as directed Identify, report, and document suspicious or unusual activity Complete incident and activity reports accurately and timely Respond to calls for service and follow site-specific protocols Interact with clients, residents, and law enforcement professionally

Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years old Must legally be able to possess and carry a semi-automatic handgun while on duty

Duty-ready firearm and Level II or higher retention holster provided by the employee

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record U.S. work authorization and ability to pass a background check Willingness to work overnight, weekends, and holidays at increased pay Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations Able to pass random drug screenings Able to stand, walk, enter/exit vehicles, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working outdoors and in various weather conditions during overnight shifts

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

Valid

Denver armed security guard license

or eligibility to obtain one Valid Concealed Carry Permit (CCW) Certification in First Aid and CPR Experience in security, military, or law enforcement roles Conflict resolution or surveillance training

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
