QUALIFICATIONS



Certified Recovery Support Services (CRSS) preferred or must be obtained within 12 months of hire. Life experience as a consumer of mental health services or addiction treatment Experience in crisis intervention High school diploma or GED equivalent Computer skills

Bilingual (English/SPANISH or English/POLISH) is helpful but not required

Personal vehicle, valid Illinois driver's license and vehicle insurance

Supervisor Mobile Crisis Response

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES



Provide community-based crisis intervention services to children, adolescents, adults and their families with behavioral and emotional concerns.

Provide crisis intervention, peer counseling, information, or referrals to callers on the agency's 24-hour crisis lines in a non-judgmental manner.

Perform other related duties as assigned by the MCR Clinical Supervisor

Adhere to all federal and state regulations and all Agency policies and procedures.

SPECIFIC DUTIES



Work as a part of the team to provide crisis intervention and stabilization (MCR) services within the community, which includes days, evenings, holidays and weekends Complete all Agency and DCFS forms Contact Supervisor and utilize supervision to address problematic cases, general case reporting, need for special services, and need for resource information Represent the Agency in a professional manner including educating the community as to Agency services, fostering all collaborative relationships, and assisting in facilitation of MCR Program referrals. Serve on Agency and / or community committees as requested by Supervisor Assume responsibility for professional growth, including attending all mandatory Agency In-service trainings
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Requires safely lifting or moving up to 25 lbs. on an occasional basis, for example movement of materials, files, or texts. Regular requirement to stand, and sit for long periods of time, with some walking, occasional bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling. The noise level is usually quiet to moderate.
