Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Vehicle Detailer to join our team on a part-time/on-call/contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. You will be responsible for providing top-quality detailing services on a variety of vehicle types in various locations throughout the Twin Cities area. This position offers flexibility, but reliability is essential as you will be called upon to work a minimum of 2 days in a row every 6 weeks with opportunity for additional hours as needed and as the company grows. There is a potential for this position to evolve into a full time position.

Reliable transportation to the location of work as well as a valid driver's license and 12 month clean driving records is a requirement.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are cleaned, detailed, polished, and presented to the highest standards. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and an eye for detail, as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of vehicles, both interior and exterior, including vacuuming, washing, waxing, and buffing.

Conduct custodial tasks such as shampooing carpets and upholstery to maintain cleanliness.

Ensure all work is completed with attention to detail and high standards.

Drive vehicles safely to and from designated areas for detailing services.

Maintain an organized workspace and ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and in good condition.

Operate independently and efficiently to meet scheduled appointments and maintain client satisfaction.

Travel to various locations for mobile detailing; must have reliable transportation.

Maintain tools, products, and equipment in good working order.

Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring satisfaction with detailing services.

Follow all safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and operating equipment

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.

Experience in auto detailing is required. Custodial work/cleaning services experience is desirable.

Proficient in various cleaning techniques including buffing and car wash procedures.

Ability to drive vehicles of various sizes safely and responsibly.

Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Knowledge of window tinting processes is a plus but not mandatory.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Valid drivers license, 12 month clean driving record and reliable transportation are required.

Must be trustworthy, hardworking, and have excellent communication skills.

Must be available to work 8-hour shifts, 2-3 days in a row every approximately 6 weeks.
