The Role



As a Mix Plant Operator 3, you will play a key role in helping us bring our mission to life. The role includes all tasks involved in the production of ice cream mix while following standard operating procedures for food safety and sanitation. You will be training for advancement to Mix Plant Operator 2 and 1.

Key Responsibilities:



Responsible for batching and pasteurization of mixes per the daily mix production plan, including but not limited to: Keep the equipment in good working order and make written work requests when needed. Operate HTST and Vat pasteurization (while working toward becoming a State of Wisconsin Certified Operator) Maintain all required documentation including Plex Review all documentation including that for the CCP for the required parameters Conduct sanitation activities as needed on all equipment required for daily mix activities. Ensure adherence to all regulatory policies, practices, and procedures Ensure the highest quality product by performing all procedures, quality checks, and documentation to meet specification Conduct and document required quality checks on product Set up, maintain, monitor, and adjust equipment as necessary to maintain product, quality, and safety specifications (e.g. pumps, tanks, piping) Communicate with upstream and downstream operations to maintain process flow and prevent production disruptions Operate and troubleshoot equipment Attach appropriate labels and tags to their corresponding products and packages

About You



We're looking for individuals who:

Are at least 18 years of age Have punctual, predictable, and reliable attendance Are cooperative and able to take direction Have good teamwork skills Can concentrate while doing repetitive tasks Have strong attention to detail and organizational skills Can follow safety protocols and work in a physically demanding environment Can constantly lift ingredients and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. Can ascend and descend a ladder Can remain in a stationary position (standing) 100% of shift Are Bilingual in Spanish and English (a plus)
Previous experience in food/dairy manufacturing is a plus, but your attitude and alignment with our values matter most.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
