Mini Excavator Operator. The ideal candidate must be experienced using excavators to install underground utilities.
Forklift operators will not be considered.
Should have extensive experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with excavators, and will be responsible for performing various tasks related to excavation. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to operate machinery efficiently and effectively.
Duties
Operate excavators and other heavy equipment such as bulldozers, graders, dump trucks, water trucks, and tankers.
Dig trenches & other earthworks as required for construction projects.
Ensure proper maintenance of equipment by conducting routine inspections and performing minor repairs.
Work with crew to ensure project timelines are met while adhering to safety standards.
Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on-site.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Mini Excavator Operator working around underground utilities
Valid driver's license and good driving record (no DUIs/Careless Driving convictions within previous 5 years) is mandatory.
Ability to operate additional machinery such as bulldozers, graders, dump trucks, water trucks, and tankers is advantageous.
Strong understanding of safety practices related to heavy equipment operation.
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with excavation work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
