Join our dynamic team as a Mini Bus Driver, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of students as they travel to and from school. You will be responsible for operating a school bus in a safe, efficient, and friendly manner, while also fostering a positive atmosphere for children. What you'll do

Safely transport students to and from school, ensuring timely arrivals and departures. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in optimal working condition. Manage student behavior on the bus to maintain a safe and respectful environment. Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, providing support as needed. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and any incidents that occur during transport. Collaborate with school personnel to address any transportation-related concerns or issues. Stay informed about traffic laws and regulations to ensure compliance at all times.

Skills

Proven experience in bus driving or commercial driving with a valid driver's license. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus! Experience working with children, demonstrating patience and understanding in various situations. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance checks on the bus. Customer service orientation to interact positively with students, parents, and staff. Ability to manage behavior effectively while creating an encouraging atmosphere for children. Background in childcare or teaching is advantageous for engaging with students effectively. Writing skills for maintaining accurate reports and documentation.
