Job Description
Job Overview
We are hiring a Millwright Helper to assist millwrights and fabrication staff in a machine shop environment. This is an entry level position with hands-on training for candidates interested in mechanical and fabrication work.
Duties
Assist with assembly, installation, and repair of machinery Support fabrication tasks (fitting, grinding, deburring, material prep) Use hand and power tools for basic mechanical work Move materials and keep the shop clean and organized Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements
Skills
Mechanical aptitude and interest in millwright or fabrication work Ability to work in a shop environment and perform physical tasks Shop or industrial experience is preferred Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Work Environment
Machine and fabrication shop with occasional field work Exposure to noise, metal materials, and machinery
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
