We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Millwright to join our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with experience in industrial maintenance and a solid understanding of schematics, hydraulics, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). This role involves maintaining, repairing, and installing machinery to ensure optimal production operations. Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and machinery, including conveyors, pumps, and motors.
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and control diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Perform preventive maintenance using CMMS systems to schedule and document work activities.
Diagnose electrical problems using tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters for low voltage and high voltage systems.
Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
Utilize precision measuring instruments for alignment and calibration tasks.
Operate scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas.
Conduct welding operations using welding techniques when necessary for repairs or modifications.
Collaborate with technical sales teams to support customer needs related to machinery or maintenance services.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to safety protocols related to high voltage, electrical systems, and industrial mechanics.
Provide field service support as needed for on-site repairs or installations.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Millwright or in industrial mechanic roles within manufacturing facilities.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical wiring (including low voltage), hydraulics, and schematics interpretation.
Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial control systems.
Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management.
Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters effectively.
Skilled in welding ( welding preferred) and mechanical repairs involving precision instruments.
Valid driver's license; experience operating scissor lifts or similar equipment is a plus.
Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation for effective troubleshooting and client interactions.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong communication skills in English; military background or prior field service experience is advantageous.
