Position Title

: Millwright - Days / Swing

Position Location:

Blanca, CO.

Position Description:

Fabricate, rebuild, repair, install and maintain sawmill and dry end facility equipment. Ability to Maintain and Repair Rolling stock, including forklifts and log yard Cat Equipment.

Position Responsibilities:

Perform duties in a safe and productive manner minimizing damage to lumber product.

Position Requirements:

Must supply own hand/power tools (appropriate for this level) Meet minimum attendance requirements. Must be available for call-outs and overtime as needed Accept and follow instructions from the supervisor / lead. Work cooperatively with other employees. Read and understand all repair / instruction manuals. Read and understand schematics, diagrams, and blue prints. Hydraulic Systems Maintenance and Troubleshooting Pneumatic Systems Maintenance and Troubleshooting Basic Machine Operation, Set-up and repair Electronic maintenance file. Record keeping and reporting. Welding, cutting, and fabrication Troubleshoot and repair all types of rolling stock on mill premise Utilize all rolling stock equipment ie. skid steer, fork lift, loader, etc. Understand and use all appropriate test equipment Troubleshoot and repair all maintenance problems on the mill site Be able to understand the basic operation and location of all the machines in all departments Be able to work at some height off the ground on ladders, scaffoldings, man
lifts, etc.

Be willing to teach and / or instruct other employees when required Basic knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance repair and control (single
and three phase)

Pass appropriate written and practical skills and abilities test Pass drug and alcohol screenings and all randoms tests Have the desire and ability to progress to the higher skill levels
