Summary

Provides the day to day maintenance of the mill, facilities and grounds to promote the effective and efficient use of the business resources.

Key Responsibilities

Operates equipment, hand tools and power tools for the repair of the mill, fabrication and general operations. Maintain and repair equipment to ensure the facility runs smoothly and efficiently. Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor

Typical Education

High School Diploma or GED

Relevant Experience

Knowledge of augers, rollers and grain handling is a plus Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

Must have valid driver's license While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms The employee is frequently required to sit, climb and/or balance The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception While performing the duties of this jo, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
