Join our dynamic team as a Millrite, Iron Worker, and machinery mover where you will play a vital role in constructing, installing, and maintaining structural steel and metal components on construction sites. Responsibilities



Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble metal components. Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently. Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), welding, and soldering tasks with precision to meet project specifications. Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure accurate cuts and fits of sheet metal and ductwork. Set up and operate cranes, forklifts, rigging equipment, and pipe threading machines to move heavy materials safely around the site. Fabricate structural steel components for construction projects while adhering to ASME codes & standards. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials; follow safety protocols diligently. Collaborate with team members to assemble structures using schematics and mechanical knowledge; ensure quality control throughout the process. Assist in machining tasks or plasma cutting for custom fabrication needs as required.

Qualifications



Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety procedures. Skilled in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding, welding, soldering, and plasma cutting techniques. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math for measurements and calculations. Experience operating cranes, forklifts, power tools, hand tools, rigging equipment, press brake machines, pipe threading machines, and machining tools. Knowledge of ductwork fabrication and assembly within construction or manufacturing environments. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of ASME codes & standards applicable to structural steel fabrication. Ability to work effectively with sheet metal, ductwork components, or structural steel assemblies using schematics for guidance. Strong teamwork skills combined with attention to detail; ability to follow instructions accurately under tight deadlines. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $28.41 - $34.22 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
