Job description It\'s an exciting time to join DB Schenker in Ridgeway, VA! $19.12 an hour :

  • Follow standard operating procedures and/or work instructions.
  • Operate all inspection and production equipment including computer operated milling machines and laser measurement devices to ensure parts meet quality specifications.
  • Maintain high standard of order and arrangement in the work area
  • Maintain department production records and documentation.
  • Maintain area supplies and tooling to meet production needs.
  • May use material handling pallet jacks and lift trucks when permitted.
  • Ability to use and understand SDS data, and use personal protective equipment
(rubber gloves, safety glasses, and safety shoes).
  • Requires handling of boxes, containers, and materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
  • Must be able to follow safely requirements and work safely near rotating equipment.
Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills (The following minimum requirements are normal guidelines and should not constrain the advancement of otherwise qualified personnel): \xc2\xb7 Ability to read and write with basic mechanical and computer knowledge. Ability to use and understand MSDS data, and use personal protective equipment (rubber gloves, safety glasses, and safety shoes). Must be able to obtain a pallet jack license. High school diploma or equivalent required. Generally prefer 2+ years experience preferred. Good interpersonal skills required. The individual in this position must be capable of performing all of the essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.12 per hour Benefits:
