Position Summary

The Production Specialist operates light to medium-duty manufacturing equipment within our lumber remanufacturing facility. This role supports multiple production stations including shrink-wrap machines, palletizers, re-saws, moulders, and other mill processes. This is a hands-on machine operator role for candidates 18+ where safety, quality, and teamwork are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Operate manufacturing and packaging equipment safely and efficiently Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members Identify and report mechanical or material issues Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace Meet production and quality standards Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills & Abilities

Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills Clear oral and written communication Attention to detail with a sense of urgency Ability to keep pace with production flow Ability to perform basic math and limited computer/data entry Willingness to learn new equipment and processes

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:

Stand and walk for the full duration of the shift Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and climb stairs Use hands and arms for handling, gripping, and operating machinery Perform repetitive motions throughout the workday Lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 35 pounds Use near, far, and peripheral vision with depth perception and the ability to adjust focus Hear and communicate effectively in a manufacturing environment Work safely around moving mechanical parts and production equipment

Preferred Qualifications

Manufacturing or factory experience Lumber mill experience

Demonstrated history of reliability and employment stability

Ability to commit to a long-term role and build sustained relationships
