Find your future with us. Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Mid-Level Industrial Security Specialist to join the Government Security Team located in Huntsville, AL. The selected candidate will support security activities/programs within the NISP environment. Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the execution of Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.
  • Assists in the identification of deficiencies and recommends corrective action.
  • Assists with Government Security Investigations (e.g., collects and analyzes data, writes reports and interviews) on personnel, processes and situations to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
  • Assists with classified meeting support to include logistics, visits, Business Partner liaison and level setting.
  • Develop, implement and administer an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.
  • Perform Physical Security duties and responsibilities (e.g., complete fixed/closed facility checklists/survey areas, review and approve facility drawings for new or remodeled classified areas).
  • Provide Program COMSEC support for sites through meeting attendance and documentation review and generation.
  • Supports enterprise level activities, supporting teams that create security relevant products for use by all of Boeing Government Security.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience with National Industrial Security Procedures and Operations Manual (NISPOM) and in NISP related programs
  • 1+ year of experience in government industry and/or DoD, NSA, or SCI COMSEC account management.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or higher
  • Experience with project management and self-managing projects
Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years\' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years\' related work experience, 10 years\' related work experience, etc.). Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. Travel: This position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
