Job Description

Mid-Level Geospatial Analyst

Possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, or 8 years of Military
Experience in a related field shall be individually demonstrate at least three (3) years' relevant experience

with, or education in, geospatial sciences, performing spatial analysis. Acceptable education shall consist

of a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Geospatial Sciences, Geography, Remote Sensing, or Geospatial

Intelligence, or other Bachelor's degree or higher, with a concentration in Geographic Information

Systems (or Science).
Shall individually demonstrate eight (8) years' experience performing mobility modeling

(time/distance/likelihood) spatial analysis about adversary's military weapon systems movement,

and demonstrate knowledge of the influential factors pertaining to this problem set. Shall individually

demonstrate at least eight (8) years' experience with the installation, configuration, operation, and

limitations of the ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal, Operations Dashboard, and GeoEvent servers. Shall

demonstrate proficiency in the use of ArcGIS to produce web maps, web mapping applications, and

spatial analytic dashboards on a Portal. Shall also possess the experience required to employ adapters

in the ArcGIS GeoEvent Processor in order to process geospatial feeds for incorporation into an analytic

dashboard.
Individually demonstrate at least 3 years' experience in GIS, with expertise in ArcGIS Pro, spatial analysis,

and web GIS applications. Must demonstrate proficiency in System Administration of ArcGIS software

and applications. Must also possess and demonstrate the experience required with Python scripting,

ArcPy, and GIS database management.


Shall individually demonstrate at least three (3) years' proficiency with Environmental Systems Research

Institute's ArcGIS Enterprise software, knowledge of Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standards, and

familiarity with current USSTRATCOM GIS systems and processes, including Machine Learning and

Automation concepts.


Shall individually demonstrate three (3) years' experience with relational database management and

three (3) years' programming in Python scripting language. Scripting experience shall include connecting

with dynamic streaming data using JSON, GeoJSON, XML, CSV and RESTEND.
Must possess a current Security+ certification and obtain a DIA/DOD privileged user account. Shall

individually demonstrate familiarity with DoD IT security standards (DISA STIGs, FedRAMP, ATO

processes).


Shall be knowledgeable on how to prepare staff action packages in accordance with USSTRATCOM

procedures and support USSTRATCOM planning efforts against a potential adversary's strategic

weapons.


Skills & Qualifications

Candidate shall individually demonstrate proficiency in ArcGIS Enterprise Portal, ArcGIS Pro, and GeoEvent

Server, ArcPy, and Python scripting. possess the experience with DoD IT security standards (e.g., DISA

STIGs, FedRAMP) and demonstrated relevant experience in spatial databases (e.g., PostgreSQL/PostGIS,

SQL Server). Shall individually possess demonstrated relevant experience with Dynamic Data

Connections (REST API and others) development and system integration. Shall possess the ability to travel to

technical exchanges and industry conferences.
