Sayres is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Acquisition Management Analyst with a current SECRET clearance, verifiable in DISS in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:

• Familiarity with DoD and Navy policies that relate to defense acquisition and be able to employ the latest guidance to execute tasking in accordance with these policies.
• Assist in development, maintenance, and preparation of briefings.
• Attend meetings and prepare minutes; and research and prepare responses to action items. To include:

• Quarterly Program and/or Progress Reviews (QPRs)
• Milestone Reviews, Gate Reviews, or Resources and Requirements Review Board (R3B).
• Shipbuilder Program Reviews, including Post-Award Conferences and logistics meetings.
• Foreign Customer Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and Financial Management Reviews (FMRs).

Preferred Specialization:

• DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); DoD/DoN contracting; experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel; Foreign Military Sales; development of DoN acquisition document (e.g. Acquisition Strategy, Acquisition Program Baseline); ship building experience.

Minimum Skill Sets of Qualified Candidates

• Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or Business Management discipline.
• 7+ years program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management, with 3+ years in DoD/DoN program, contracts, or acquisition management
• Secret Clearance verifiable in DISS/JPAS
• DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); DoD/DoN contracting; experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel

Preferred Skill Sets of Qualified Candidates

• Master\'s degree in Engineering or Business Management discipline
• Project Management Professional (PMP) for 3+ years Preferred.
• 10+ years program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management, with 5+ years in DoD/DoN program, contracts, or acquisition management
