Position Overview:

We have a full time Speech-Language Pathologist opening with our school partners in Aurora. This role is for a Speech Language Pathologist who is interested in supporting the middle school population of students. The SLP will be responsible for providing push-in and pull-out services to a mild to moderate caseload of around 40 students. In this community focused school, you will find that the teaching staff, administration, and families work collaboratively to achieve student success. Responsibilities:
  • Completes evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth
  • Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to identified students
  • Assist case manager with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to meet the students\' speech and/or language needs
  • Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans
  • Facilitate staff and community training in the area of communication disorders
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois
  • Previous experience in a K-12 setting (preferred)
