POSITION:

Middle School Boys Basketball 7th & 8th Grade C/D Team Coach

LOCATION:

Eagle, Idaho

JOB TYPE:

2025 -2026 Season

: We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to take on the role of Middle School Boys Basketball 7th/8th Grade C/D Team Coach. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in skill development, sportsmanship, and teamwork. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of our student-athletes and contribute to our school's athletic legacy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Development of a well-structured basketball program that focuses on fundamentals, skill development, and physical fitness. Supervise and implement practice plans that promote individual and team growth that are appropriate for a C and D team skill level. Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and character development. Assist and collaborate with the 7th 8th grade A/B Team Head Coach, when needed. Teach and enforce the rules and fundamentals of basketball. Communicate effectively with the players, parents, and school administration. Ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes during practices and at all games. Collaborate with the Athletic Director and other coaches to support the overall success of our athletics program.
Qualifications:

Previous coaching experience. Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals and strategy. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Passion for working with student-athletes and helping them reach their full potential. A commitment to promoting sportsmanship and character development in student-athletes. Ability to pass background checks and meet all coaching certification requirements as mandated by the state of Idaho.
