POSITION OVERVIEW:

Plan, organize, direct and control the performance of integrated financial and operational audits for domestic and international organizations and functions.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead a team of high performing audit professionals


Oversee procedures and develop strategies to optimize daily operations


Identify and mitigate risks associated with business operations


Recommend improvements, evaluate policies and procedures and test compliance where necessary


Perform projects requested by directors and senior management


Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures


Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or engineering. Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements Five (5) years directly related experience in internal audit, public accounting, finance, engineering and/or information systems analysis/planning Knowledge of auditing, accounting, finance, microcomputers, computer modeling and applicable programming languages Integrated financial/operational/information systems auditing experience Strong basic management, human relations, project management, analytical and communications skills Frequent, extended North American and international travel

Additional Details:

This position will be domiciled at a FedEx Freight location in Memphis, TN or Harrison, AR. You will be required to work at a FedEx Freight location several times per week.
