POSITION OVERVIEW:




Leads enterprise generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) initiatives, overseeing teams that explore, build and deploy advanced AI tools and use cases to drive cross-functional innovation and automation



ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:


1. Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing AI/data science team, fostering innovation, best practices and continuous learning

2. Oversee the exploration, development and deployment of generative AI models and tools to create enterprise-wide solutions

3. Partner with business, technology, and data teams to identify use cases and define success metrics for AI initiatives

4. Ensure compliance with AI governance, ethical standards and data security policies

5. Oversee network upgrades, patches and lifecycle management for all network devices

6. Monitor AI solution adoption, performance, and business impact, recommending enhancements as appropriate

7. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.

8. Perform other duties as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or related field Five (5) years' experience in data science or analytics roles Proven experience in artificial intelligence / machine learning (AI/ML) model development, natural language processing, or generative AI Strong expertise in model evaluation, deployment and integration into business workflows Familiarity with cross-functional AI applications and enterprise-scale deployment considerations Strategic mindset to identify high-impact generative AI opportunities and translate them into actionable solutions Strong communication skills to explain AI concepts and capabilities to technical and non-technical stakeholders Leadership and mentoring skills to develop team expertise and innovation capacity
