Position Overview:

As a

Metal Finishing & Assembly Technician

, you will be responsible for ensuring parts meet exacting standards through hands-on finishing and detailed assembly work. This position requires excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform metal finishing processes such as

deburring, tumbling and sanding

to remove sharp edges, improve surface finish, and prepare parts for final delivery. Conduct

precision assembly tasks

including pressing pins, installing helicoils and other install work, and ensuring assemblies meet specifications. Safely use and maintain shop tools and finishing equipment. Follow work instructions and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Collaborate with machinists, programmers, and quality control to resolve issues and maintain production flow. Support and suggest improvements to help grow the efficiency of the company.

Qualifications:

High attention to detail and craftsmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in finishing, assembly, or manufacturing is a plus but

not required

Competitive hourly wage, with overtime opportunities and room for advancement. The listed wage is not the ceiling.

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
