Job Description

Day-O-Lite is seeking a skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator & MIG and Spot Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and welding, with the ability to produce high-quality parts and assemblies according to precise specifications. Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal using shears, saws, plasma cutters, and CNC machines.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts according to blueprints and specifications. Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery (brakes, shears, punches, etc.). Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal materials (steel, aluminum, etc.). Ensure parts meet quality standards and tolerances. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication and MIG welding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment. Knowledge of metal properties and welding techniques. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a fast-paced environment.

Forklift or overhead crane operation experience is a plus.
