Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Fabricator Assistant to join our team in Claymont, Delaware!

AWR Commercial Window Company specializes in the repair and restoration of metal and wood windows and doors. We provide repair, preservation, and restoration services to residential, commercial, municipal, churches, cathedrals, historic, and landmark buildings throughout the United States.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay range is dependent on experience.

Fabricator Assistant Requirements:

• Must have 3 plus years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working in a production, assembly line, or a wood/metal shop
• 3 plus years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in metal and wood fabrication
• Must have own hand tools and power tools
• Capable of performing MIG and TIG welding on metal and wood
• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs
• Standing, bending, and repetitive motion for up to 8 hours
• Possess a valid driver license and have reliable transportation.
• Authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or equivalent

Fabricator Assistant Responsibilities:

• Performing and assisting the fabricator in set-up and layout for projects based on drawings
• Consistent attention to detail; ensuring highest quality of finished products and minimal rework
• Fixturing, Riggin, and installation windows and doors
• Grinding and sanding to ensure best quality work
• Ensure clean and safe storage of all equipment
• Follows company procedures and safety standards in a timely manner
• Other related duties as assigned by management
