We are seeking people that are honest, dependable and caring, to be mentors for adults with learning challenges; you can help them enjoy their lives so that they can live on their own and participate in community activities. We welcome applicants with or without experience in the field. You will be provided with training and supports to help you succeed. Creative scheduling is available to work around your needs. Part time and full-time positions are available. Work with Mr. S in Gales Ferry. He currently lives in his family home and is a social member of his local fire department. He takes great pride in attending weekly meetings and being a part of the crew. He is seeking supports on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12-5pm. Mr. S is seeking a mentor to take him out in the community and attending local events including car shows, sports events and Mohegan Sun. Applicants must hold a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license for a minimum of 3 years with no major violations in the last 10 years, motor vehicle insurance with a minimum liability limit of $100,000 Combined Single Limit or $100,000/$300,000 spilt limits, and a high school diploma or equivalent. EOE PAY: $18.00/hour plus mileage Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00 per hour Benefits:
