Position Description:

Under the supervision of a Licensed Independent Social Worker, provide therapy to individuals, couples, groups, and families to promote ideal mental health and well-being.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Meet with clients regularly to provide clinical treatment Conduct ongoing assessments of client progress and maintain appropriate documentation Create individualized treatment plans according to client needs and circumstances Refer clients to specialists as necessary Serve as a client advocate to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations Assist with insurance processes and client account collections Conduct trainings as needed virtually or in person Assist clients into the relaxation rooms Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Graduate from an accredited master's social work or behavioral health education program;

Master's Degree required

Maintain LMHC-T OR Licensed Social Worker status (LMSW). Intent to obtain needed hours under supervision of a LISW in the time frame outlined by the State of Iowa for full licensure.
