This is a great opportunity to work in the behavioral healthcare field. The Mental Health Technician

provides direct patient care under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or a registered nurse. Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, and activities of daily living.

This position is full-time with every other weekend rotation.

Our psych units work 12-hour shifts - 6:30am - 7:00pm or 6:30pm - 7:00am.

Our chemical dependency unit works 8-hour shifts- 6:30am-3:00pm, 2:30pm-11pm or 10:30pm-7:00am

This position also qualifies for our $1000 sign-on bonus for FULL-Time positions ONLY!!

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitors unite milieu and maintains a safe therapeutic environment for patients. Completes patient observation rounds timely, and accurately Responds to patients in crisis and acts accordingly

Mental Health Tech Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a psychology-related field is highly preferred

High School Diploma or GED required.

Valid Driver's License with safe driving record
