Our agency is seeking a passionate and dedicated

Male Member Care Specialist

to assist children and adults with accomplishing personal goals. This opening is for a male staff based on the preferences of clients being served.

This position is in Henderson, NC. (30-45 mins from Durham, NC)

(60 mins from Raleigh, Wilson, Rocky Mount)



This position requires face to face visits with clients.

Establish therapeutic rapport with assigned clients on caseload

Oversee identfied caseload of clients offering therapeutic interventions and skill building in the home, community, and school setting(case load ranges from 5-7 clients)

Complete timely administrative task and progress notes to document visits

Complete weekly administrative tasks in office as scheduled

Provide education and support activities for client and their natural supports as appropriate;

Implement symptom monitoring and management skills of mental health needs

Assisting the client in accessing resources, benefits and additional services;

Coordinate and communicate with all stakeholders involved in member's care

Complete Trainings and certifications required for the position that foster increased knowledge related to mental health and substance abuse interventions

Advocate for clients to promote healthy decision making, empowerment, and engagement

Teach anger management and emotional control techniques

Communicate client's status on a regular basis, including, but not limited to changes in mood or functioning, medical issues and all crisis and health and safety issues

Qualifications:



-Must have a BA/BS degree

-Must have 1 year experience working with children and or adults

-Must be comfortable working within the the community, office, and school setting

- Must have a passion for assisting clients experiencing challenges with Mental Health and Substance use needs such as poor emotional regulation, aggression, depression, anxiety, homelessness, low income, substance use, and other mental health or substance use related needs.

Candidates must be willing to complete Trainings and certification as needed for the position.Candidates with limited experience but an eagerness to learn and gain experience in the field are encouraged to apply.



Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $42,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
