Contract Therapist (Hybrid - Saturdays + 2 Evenings per Week)

Soar Therapy & Integrated Wellness - Springfield, VA

Pay Rate:

$45.00-50.00 per session

Schedule:

Saturdays (9 a.m.-2 p.m. in person) and two weekday evenings (4 p.m.-7 p.m. or 5 p.m.-8 p.m.)

This position is best suited for a grounded clinician who honors structure, boundaries, and excellence in service.

Scope of Work / Contractor Responsibilities

Contract therapists at Soar Therapy & Integrated Wellness are expected to:

Provide high-quality psychotherapy for

children and adults

within their scope of training and licensure. Complete all clinical documentation within 48 hours of each session. Documentation serves as the

receipt of services rendered

and is required for billing and contractor payment. Maintain accurate diagnostic coding and ensure notes reflect medical necessity and treatment progress. Maintain clear and timely communication with the administrative team when coordination or updates are required. Uphold all

HIPAA, ethical, and professional standards

of practice. Conduct themselves with integrity, professionalism, and respect in all client and team interactions. Maintain compliance with licensure requirements, malpractice coverage, and continuing education. Represent Soar Therapy & Integrated Wellness with professionalism, cultural humility, and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field. Active

Virginia LPC, LCSW

, or registration as a

Resident in Counseling

(approved by the VA Board of Counseling). At least one year of clinical experience (internship experience included). Skilled in or familiar with

CBT, DBT, mindfulness, IFS, EMDR,

or trauma-informed modalities. Strong clinical judgment, reliability, and ethical awareness.

Must hold active professional liability insurance

(minimum $1,000,000/$3,000,000). Must provide

W-9, NPI number, HIPAA training certificate,

and

proof of licensure.
