Connected Brain Counseling is a small, integrative group practice that blends talk therapy with evidence-based neurofeedback to help clients create lasting change in their emotional and nervous-system health. We're expanding our team and looking for a compassionate, motivated counselor who is excited about combining traditional therapy with brain-based interventions.

This is a growing caseload position, ideal for someone who values a slower, sustainable start and wants to deepen their skills in both counseling and neurofeedback.

About the Role:

Connected Brain offers individual counseling, couples counseling and neurofeedback. We are seeking a licensed or pre-licensed mental health counselor (LPC, LPCC, LAC, LMFT, MFTC) or experienced coach who is:

Interested in learning neurofeedback (training is provided) Flexible with shifting client flow between counseling/coaching and neurofeedback Comfortable starting with a small number of clients per week (primarily neurofeedback clients) Looking for a long-term home in a supportive, integrative practice
Client flow will increase gradually over time based on your interest areas, client preferences, and clinic needs.

A therapist or coach with a somatic background, and/or experience working with couples, families, or youth is of special interest.

What You'll Do

Provide 1:1 counseling to adults Conduct neurofeedback sessions (30 minutes each) using our established protocols Collaborate with the team on treatment planning and client communication Maintain clear, timely documentation Participate in initial training and monthly team meetings/consultation.

Compensation

This is a 1099 contractor position.

$35 per 30-minute neurofeedback session $80-$90 per individual counseling session, depending on credentials and experience Competitive pay rates with yearly opportunities for hourly rate increases

Who You Are

You may be a great fit if you...

Hold a masters degree (we cannot support interns at this time) or extensive coaching credentials and experience Are curious and open to new modalities and enjoy working with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or burnout Value working independently and also value a warm, supportive environment Carry your own malpractice insurance and seek supervision outside of the practice if pre-licensed. Are comfortable with a gradual caseload build and understand that client flow will fluctuate along the path to full caseload capacity Have availability 2-4 days per week including 1 weeknight
