Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner



We are growing! Lincoln Counseling & Enrichment Associates (LCEA) is currently seeking a Mental Health Practitioner to join our clinic. We are a team of mental health professionals providing counseling and educational services which are designed to help people live effectively and authentically, discerning truth and practicing reconciliation. Our adjacent offices and working relationship assure access to a wide range of medical services such as physician consultation, referrals and hospitalization. Mental Health Practitioners play an integral role at Lincoln Family Medical Group. Together with the Physicians, Physician Assistants, and Social Worker, we strive to make a positive impact on our patients/clients by evaluating and treating patients to achieve optimal patient/client care. We also work with many other physicians and health professionals in the community to ensure collaborative care for our clients.

Job Duties:

Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions Evaluates clients physical or mental condition based on review of client information. Develops and implements treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge. Acts as a client advocate to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations. Monitor client progress and modify their treatment plans as needed. Assist family members and primary caregivers in managing mental behavioral challenges. Collaborate on care plans with other mental health specialists, doctors, nurses, and caregivers. Coordinate with social and medical agencies, healthcare providers, and community outreach programs to provide clients with needed services. Maintains confidentiality of records relating to client's treatment. Other duties typical of a Mental Health Practitioner.
There is flexibility in creating your own schedule and patient base. Lincoln Family Medical Group handles medical records, billing, and other clerical duties as needed.

Requirements and skills



Appropriate state credentials and licensing required for Mental Health Counseling or similar.

Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.

Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions, and for counseling and guidance.
