Integrated Psychiatric Services is a rapidly growing provider of outpatient psychiatry services in the Atlanta area.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Counselor to join our Practice. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in providing therapeutic support to individuals with mental health concerns within a psychiatric outpatient setting. The Mental Health Counselor will collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive mental health care services, addressing the diverse needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:

Conduct individual, couples and group therapy sessions to address mental health concerns and promote emotional well-being. Accurately document patient information and treatment plans. Manage crisis situations by implementing appropriate interventions and ensuring the safety of patients. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as social workers and special education teachers, to provide comprehensive care for clients. Conduct patient assessments to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Follow up on the diagnostic assessments and individualized treatment plans developed by the psychiatrist.

Skills:

- Licensed Professional Counselor or LMFT
- Strong knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Proficiency in evienced based therapeutic techniques
- Knowledge of addiction counseling principles and techniques
- Understanding of behavioral health issues and treatment approaches
- Excellent assessment skills to evaluate clients' needs accurately

- Effective communication skills, emotional regulation skills, and being a team player are a must.
