Summary of Job Duties: The Mental Health Clinician duties include providing individual, couple and group counseling, emergency mental health services; consultation with the University community; outreach presentations, clinical supervision of graduate students; clinical disposition activities; staff meetings; coordination of specific area (e.g. group, outreach, training, embedded, eating disorders, etc.); clinical documentation; obtain and maintain licensure in the state of Arkansas in relevant discipline; and other duties as assigned by the CAPS director, associate director for clinical services, or assistant directors. The position has routine shift hours, infrequent overtime, or shift rotation.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Master\'s degree in social work, counselor education, or relevant field from an accredited institution of higher education

OR

Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, counselor education, or a related field from an accredited institution of higher education

No later than your start date at CAPS you will be required to provide information confirming your application for independent licensure as a mental health professional in the state of Arkansas and pursue full licensure in compliance with state licensing board policies during the term of your appointment at CAPS.

Salary Information: $59,000 (commensurate with education and experience)
