Men\'s and Women\'s Sober Living Residence Manager
Position Description:
Wasatch Crest Treatment Services, a leading provider of substance abuse treatment services, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Recovery Residence Manager to oversee our men\'s and women\'s recovery residences. The Sober Living Residence Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the residences, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents, and supporting them in their recovery journey.
Job Duties:
- Manage the daily operations of the men\'s and women\'s sober living residences, including overseeing the housekeeping, maintenance, and upkeep of the properties.
- Provide support and guidance to residents in their recovery journey, including leading group meetings and one-on-one counseling sessions as needed.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents, ensuring that all house rules and regulations are followed and addressing any conflicts or issues as they arise.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff members, and serve as a role model and mentor to those in recovery.
- Maintain accurate records of resident progress and compliance with treatment plans and provide regular reports to the clinical team.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure that residents receive comprehensive and integrated care and participate in program development and improvement as needed.
Travel Requirements: Transport residents to community activities in company vehicle.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Utah driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
- Minimum of one year of experience in substance abuse treatment or residential management preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Understanding of 12-Step principles and the recovery process.
- Must pass random drug screening tests, TB test, and CPR certification.
- Ability to interact with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds. Respects diversity.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, including use of tools and technologies.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evening and weekends as needed.
