The Member Experience Representative is responsible for greeting all members when they enter the branch and assisting them with their financial needs. This is a front-line role responsible for delivering outstanding service and support to members through various channels, including in-person, by phone, and through text and digital messaging. This position performs a variety of financial transactions and supports both lobby and teller operations. Our ideal candidate has a positive, can-do attitude, and is a problem-solver with strong cash-handling and member service skills. Additionally, the candidate should be comfortable in a sales environment and be able to meet monthly sales goals.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MEMBER EXPERIENCE REPRESENTATIVE INCLUDE:
Serving as a member experience concierge for members entering the branch and coordinating lobby flow.
Performing routine member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing.
Assisting members in the opening and closing of accounts.
Balancing the teller drawer at the end of the day.
Supporting ITM (Interactive Teller Machine) operations and serving as a knowledgeable resource.
Promoting and cross-selling Pelican products and services to members to fit their financial needs.
Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
MEMBER EXPERIENCE REPRESENTATIVE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
Minimum of 1 year of continuous job experience.
A High School Diploma or equivalent.
Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and member service skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, and PPT.
