is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented

Medication Technician (Med Tech)

to join our care team. This role is essential in ensuring residents receive medications safely, accurately, and in compliance with physician orders and state regulations. Our Med Techs are valued members of our team who help promote resident safety, dignity, and quality of life.

Duties and Responsibilities

Administer medications accurately in accordance with physician orders and facility policy Document medication administration, refusals, and observations per protocol Monitor residents for adverse reactions and report concerns immediately Maintain accurate narcotic counts and controlled substance documentation Communicate with pharmacy regarding refills, returns, and discrepancies Assist with resident care needs as directed Maintain a clean, organized, and secure medication cart Support and mentor new staff as assigned

$15.00/hour

Bonus:

$750 Sign-On Bonus

Skills and Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required Successful completion of a state-approved Medication Administration Training Program Prior experience in personal care or long-term care preferred Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Knowledge of medication administration and safety procedures Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods Dependable, professional, and compassionate
