Medication Aide (Med Tech)

$18.25-$19.50/hr + $0.50 NOC shift differential

We are currently seeking a

Medication Aide (Med Tech)

to join our dedicated Care Team. Candidates with prior medication experience are preferred; however,

paid on-site training is available

for caregivers or healthcare professionals ready to take the next step in their career.

Position Summary

As a Medication Aide, you play a critical role in supporting resident health, safety, and wellbeing by administering medications accurately, maintaining documentation, and communicating professionally with residents, families, and care team members.

Key Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments and document accurately in eMAR Input and manage medication orders in EMS Complete daily charting and respond promptly to call lights Communicate professionally with residents and family members regarding medications and health status Follow all state regulations and community medication safety protocols Support a safe, clean, and respectful care environment

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent Medication Aide/Med Tech experience preferred (training available for the right candidate) CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or ability to obtain) Strong attention to detail and time management skills Reliable, professional, and comfortable interacting with residents, families, and staff Ability to lift 35 lbs. regularly, with occasional lifting above 35 lbs. Authorized to work in the U.S. Successful background check and pre-employment screening required
