Medication Administration Technician
Job Description
Sterling House is looking for motivated, compassionate caregivers to join our family like team. Our main goal is ensuring high quality care, assistance and safety for our residents. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients.
No LNA certification required. Willing to train the right individual(s) for medication administration.
We are looking for 1 full time employee with previous experience (Vision dental and health available at 30 days and successful completion of orientation)
We would prefer to hire a person who can cover any of our shifts (Shifts are 7am-3pm, 3-11pm, and 11pm-7am) but need someone who is willing to do more 11pm to 7am shifts as it is our current highest need.
Pay rate is determined by previous experience and certifications.
Responsibilities
Help clients take prescribed medication Document medication administration to clients Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside Assist clients with personal care and hygiene Ability to follow individualized resident care plans Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own Be a pleasant and supportive companion Report any unusual incidents Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency On Call rotation Required (7am to 7am) In house education requirements fulfilled monthly Up to date CPR certification preferred Reliable transportation Reliable form of communication (ie, activated cellular device, active and regularly checked Email account etc.)
Job Types: Full-time, Per diem
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
