POSITION SUMMARY

The Medicare Marketing Oversight Specialist is a compliance-minded individual who is responsible for reviewing marketing and communication materials submitted by internal and external partners and stakeholders within the areas of Medicare and Cigna Medicare Supplement Insurance. This individual is responsible for communicating any required updates and approval statuses, ensuring all materials are compliant and adhere to state, federal and Cigna requirements prior to use.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the subject matter expert for the CMS marketing/communication submission process and state filing processes from inception to completion
  • Clearly understand all Medicare Marketing Guidelines and regulations
  • Clearly understand Cigna Legal requirements and state filing regulations
  • Communicate required changes and statuses to internal partner\xe2\x80\x99s and stakeholders
  • Ensure materials are submitted and approved prior to in-market use
  • Work with internal partners and stakeholders to prioritize CMS submissions, ensuring timelines are met and materials are approved on time
  • Work closely with the MBS team to communicate priorities and confirming that submissions are consistent and accurate which will result in a seamless review process
  • Responsible for all external sales partner filings (for example but not limited to, flyers, websites, scripts, etc.) Includes review and approval of all multi-plan materials prior to HPMS submission by external partners
  • Communicating updates and statuses to internal partners and stakeholders across the organization

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree and/or 4+ years of equivalent field or work experience
  • Adaptable, flexible, and able to manage through change in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to identify, triage, prioritize, and resolve issues
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and executing projects with strict timelines and quality standards
  • Previous Medicare experience with working knowledge of CMS requirements, including FDR and MCMG guidelines is a plus
  • Dedicated to customer centricity (internal and external customers alike)
  • Ability to identify and supervise multiple critical projects simultaneously with tight deadlines
