POSITION SUMMARY: \xe2\x80\xaf In collaboration with Monongalia EMS staff, the Medical Transport Coordinator will provide support and direction to the Supervising EMS Officer (Captain), Office Support Dispatch Specialist, and staff to ensure comprehensive coordination of non-emergency medical transport throughput, timely pickup and delivery, and exceptional customer service. The Coordinator may be asked to perform operational tasks due to system status at the direction of an executive team member. In addition to primary duties, the Coordinator will provide additional administrative and operational support in patient care documentation, public relations, logistics, supply chain, facilities and other administrative and operational areas. EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Current West Virginia Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Basic Certification 2. High School Diploma or GED 3. Valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License 4. NIMS IS700, IS800, IS100, IS200 5. Current NREMT Certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months of offer) EXPERIENCE: 1. 3+ years of experience as an EMS provider 2. 2+ years or more as an EMS dispatcher or equivalent dispatch experience in related industry (i.e.: Trucking, Logistics, Security) 3. Basic Computer Skills 4. Basic Understanding of statistics and reporting 5. Proficient in computer aided dispatch (CAD) Job Type: Full-time Benefits:
