Overview:

We are seeking a

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN),

internally referred to as LPN or LVN, in our Med Surg Unit. As an LPN/LVN in our Med Surg Unit, you will provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician, focusing on tasks like monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with patient care.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

provide direct and indirect patient care services which requires technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care meets the communication needs of the patient and family performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse nurses provide CPR, Patient Care, Update Documentation, Specimens, Wound Care and Vital Signs



Qualifications:

Education and Work Experience

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

current and valid Alabama state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current IV certification within 30 days and maintain current ACLS (AHA) certification within 60 days and maintain current

Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus:

one year experience in an applicable setting
