Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Scribe for our specialist office in Flint Township, Michigan.

Experience in scribing is a MUST

Previous work in medical facility without being a scribe, is not considered

Duties

include, but not limited to:

Recording the patient's chief complaint and history.

Scribing or transcribing physical exam.

Recording diagnostic test results.

Preparing assessment and plan for follow-up care.

Participate in other office duties, as required by the physician.

Job Requirements

:

Proficiency in speaking, writing and typing in English, including correct spelling of routinely used vocabulary.

Knowledge of medical terminology as well as medical procedures -

Priority

will be given to those who demonstrate higher than basic knowledge.

Motivation, dedication, confidence and professionalism.

Clinical experience is PREFERRED.

A college bachelor degree is PREFERRED.

Knowledge of working with MS-Office is PREFERRED.

Ability to handle a stressful and fast-paced environment.

Ability to read, write and comprehend through listening.

Ability to operate a computer and/or laptop through adept typing, clicking and viewing a monitor for extended periods of time.

Ability to write legibly by hand.

Ability to attend work daily on a timely routine.
