We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. Travel is required for this position. The Medical Scribe plays a crucial role in supporting healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters in real-time. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as the ability to transcribe medical documentation efficiently. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, particularly within a medical office settings.

Responsibilities

Accurately document patient histories, examinations, and treatment plans during medical visits. Transcribe physician notes and ensure all medical records are complete and up-to-date. Assist healthcare providers with the management of electronic health records (EHR) systems. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive patient information. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care. Support the healthcare team by performing administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Familiarity with emergency room procedures or experience in a medical office setting is preferred. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to transcribe information quickly and accurately while maintaining high-quality documentation standards. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Prior experience with medical records management or EHR systems is a plus.
