DISC Surgery Center is seeking a

part-time Medical Receptionist

for our

Thousand Oaks

location. This position will have a

Tuesday - Thursday schedule, 8:30am - 5:00pm schedule.

Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner. Maintain appearance of the lobby Answer/transfer incoming phone calls Prepare charts for surgery patients and readies for nurse review Obtain lab work and medical clearance for patients Assist with credentialing, medical records, accounts payable, billing/collections, insurance verification, and clinical logs as needed Perform other medical office functions, as needed

To ensure success in this role, you should have:

High school Diploma/GED Two years' experience in a medical office, hospital, outpatient surgery center, or related field Experience with Excel, Word, medical billing software and applications Working knowledge of Medical Terminology The ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment with frequent interruptions Be able to lift 30lbs and be able to walk, stand, bend and reach for prolonged periods.


Pay Range: $21.00 - $25.00/hour
