We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This vital role serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while efficiently managing administrative tasks. Responsibilities



Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures, verifying insurance information and updating personal records. Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, directing calls efficiently and responding to patient inquiries promptly. Support front desk operations by handling filing, faxing, scanning documents, and managing office supplies. Coordinate with clinical staff to facilitate patient intake and ensure smooth clinic flow. Perform administrative support tasks including data entry, typing reports, and maintaining appointment logs. Maintain a professional appearance and uphold excellent customer service standards at all times.

Requirements



Familiarity with medical billing procedures including insurance verification, collections, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and Medicare guidelines. Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively serve diverse patient populations. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and data entry tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with basic computer skills for managing electronic records efficiently. Strong communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for handling multi-line phone systems confidently. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications related to medical administration are a plus.
Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 - 30.0 per week
