Medical Receptionist Job Responsibilities:
Serves patients by greeting them, checking them in, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts.
Welcomes patients and visitors in person or on the telephone, and answering or referring inquiries.
Scheduling of appointments.
Collecting Payments
Preparing Daily Paperwork
Scanning/Faxing documents
Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying Nurses/Providers of patient's arrival.
Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties, answering patients' questions, and maintaining the reception area.
Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies.
Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Must be able to work in a fast pace environment.
Our office is open Monday-Thursday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Friday 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
