Vitreo-Retinal Consultants, Inc. is a private practice ophthalmology group that specializes in the retina. We have seven fellowship-trained retinal specialists, four main locations, and multiple satellite and surgery centers.

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist for our Canton location. We offer a competitive salary, commensurate with your experience.

Responsibilities:

Answering multi-line phones Patient registration Insurance verification Obtaining authorizations Appointment scheduling Charge entry and payment posting

Qualifications and skills required for this position:

Experience working in a medical office setting preferred Strong organizational skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize "on the fly" Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Will travel to outlying offices (mileage reimbursed) Ability to pay attention to detail Exceptional customer service skills Excellent verbal/written communication skills Professionalism Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Hours:

Monday thru Friday, 7:45 am to 5:00 pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
