Summary

As a Medical Receptionist at Boca Raton Psychiatry, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a vital role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. This position is essential in supporting our mission to provide high-quality psychiatric care while managing patient interactions and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in process efficiently. Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for providers to optimize patient flow. Handle incoming calls, addressing inquiries and directing them to appropriate staff members. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Coordinate communication between patients and clinical staff regarding care plans and follow-ups. Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence. Ability to perform/monitor Spravato and TMS treatments. Any other duties assigned by Office Manager as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting. Strong skills in medical scheduling and office management practices. Bilingual abilities are a plus to enhance communication with diverse patient populations. Familiarity with electronic health record systems; experience with an EMR is preferred but not required. Excellent clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
